How these PDF tools work
Each tool opens your file with JavaScript that runs locally, edits it in memory and hands you a download. There is no account, no watermark added by us and no file size quota other than what your device can hold. Large documents are processed in a background worker so the page stays responsive, including PDFs with well over a hundred pages.
Sign, fill and redact privately
The three tools people most often need for paperwork are also the ones where privacy matters most. Sign PDF places a drawn, typed or uploaded signature on any page and keeps the original text sharp. Fill PDF Form finds the form fields in a PDF and lets you type into them, or add text anywhere on a page that has no fields. Redact PDF removes text for good by turning only the marked pages into images, then checks the result to confirm the hidden text is really gone.
Limits worth knowing
Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked in your PDF viewer first, because the library we use cannot decrypt files. Browser-only compression works by re-drawing pages as images, so it suits scans better than text documents. Each tool page explains what it can and cannot do, with a worked example.
